What are Pro-Coat U-Bolts?

The Dale Company manufactures high-quality coated, pipeline, and anti-vibration U-Bolts — also known as Pro-Coat U-Bolts™ — for oil & gas applications. We offer custom standard and custom Pro-Coat U-Bolts™ at competitive prices, with quick turnaround and same-day shipping for many products.

Our Pro-Coat U-Bolts™ are designed to provide superior performance in corrosive and moist environments, which protects process pipe support points in refineries, chemical plants, and offshore platforms. In these environments, uncoated U-bolts and pipes corrode, leading to weaknesses in the pipe walls and leaks.

Pro-Coat U-Bolts™ are manufactured using materials that will provide a secure joint while protecting the protective coating on the pipe. The bolts can be snugly tightened to the pipe, avoiding capillary crevices around the pipe, ensuring that the pipe is protected from movement and abrasion. In addition, the coating on the bolt provides protection from heat, vibration, sandblasting, and other corrosive elements in manufacturing and marine environments.

We manufacture Pro-Coat U-Bolts™ in the following materials:

Carbon Steel
A193 B7
321, 316/316L, 304/304L, 410, and 347 stainless steel

Custom U-Bolt Finishes

All of our stock products listed below are carbon steel that is hot-dipped galvanized and coated with Pro-Coat material. We also have the ability to custom manufacture coated u-bolts with finishes including SermaGard®, zinc plating, PTFE, and polyolefin. Because all products are manufactured on-site at our facility in Houston, our coated u-bolts offer exceptional performance at a fraction of the cost of competitor products.

In addition, our custom HR D-Pad™ that plays a crucial role in preventing pipe corrosion and other common factors that diminish the life span of pipes.
