Supplying Corrosion-Resistant Hardware for Marine Applications
From shipbuilding to pier maintenance, marine projects demand hardware that can resist constant exposure to moisture and salt. We are a stocking distributor for leading fastener brands and a manufacturer of custom bolts, providing a reliable supply chain for both MRO and new construction. Our expertise in marine-grade materials ensures you get the right component for every job, from engine room assemblies to topside deck hardware.
Hardware for Shipbuilding, Repair, and Drydock
We provide the specialized, high-strength hardware required for constructing and maintaining commercial vessels and offshore platforms.
U-Bolts for Piping, Conduit, and Cable Runs
Our custom U-bolts are used extensively in shipyards to secure piping, hydraulic lines, and electrical conduit throughout a vessel. We manufacture U-bolts in marine-grade materials like 316 stainless steel and Monel to prevent galvanic corrosion and ensure a secure, long-lasting installation.
Specialty Bolts for Engines and Structural Components
The vibration and mechanical stress in a vessel’s engine room and structural framework require high-strength, reliable fasteners. We supply a range of specialty bolts, including custom-manufactured bolts to your print, ensuring every connection is secure and resistant to loosening.
Fasteners for Docks, Piers, and Port Facilities
The construction and maintenance of port infrastructure demand heavy-duty hardware that can withstand constant exposure and heavy loads.
Anchor Bolts for Securing Equipment and Structures
We manufacture and supply heavy-duty anchor bolts for securing cleats, bollards, cranes, and building structures to concrete piers and docks. Our ability to produce custom anchor bolts ensures you get the exact specifications required by your structural engineering plans.
Strut Hardware for Utility and Cable Management
We stock a complete line of strut hardware, including channel and nuts, for building the support systems for dockside utilities, power conduits, and fire suppression systems. We offer these components in hot-dipped galvanized and stainless steel for maximum life in a marine environment.
Marine-Grade Materials for Maximum Corrosion Resistance
Selecting the correct material is the most critical factor for performance in a saltwater environment. We have deep expertise in manufacturing and supplying hardware from a range of high-performance, corrosion-resistant materials:
- 316 Stainless Steel: An ideal choice for most marine environments, offering excellent protection against saltwater corrosion.
- Monel®: A nickel-copper alloy that offers superior resistance to saltwater and concentrated acids, perfect for submerged or extremely harsh conditions.
- Naval Brass: An alloy known for its strength and resistance to corrosion in seawater, often used in marine hardware and fittings.
Your Partner for Custom Marine Hardware
Drydock repairs and offshore rig maintenance run on expensive hourly meters. Every day a vessel sits idle waiting for specialized fasteners costs operators heavily. We back our supply chain with full manufacturing capabilities to turn raw metal into custom marine hardware in record time. By delivering corrosion-resistant parts immediately, we help shipwrights and offshore contractors get their assets back in the water quickly.

FAQs
For any saltwater or marine application, 316 stainless steel is significantly better. While both are austenitic stainless steels, 316 contains molybdenum, an alloy which drastically increases its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion caused by chlorides found in seawater. 304 stainless steel will corrode and rust in a marine environment over time. For this reason, 316 stainless steel is considered the minimum requirement for marine-grade hardware to ensure long-term performance and structural integrity.
Galvanic corrosion is an electrochemical reaction that occurs when two dissimilar metals are in electrical contact in the presence of an electrolyte, such as saltwater. The less noble metal will corrode at an accelerated rate to protect the more noble metal. The most effective way to prevent this is to use the same material for all connected components, for example, using a 316 stainless steel bolt, nut, and washer together. If dissimilar metals must be used, they can be isolated from each other using non-conductive plastic or rubber washers and gaskets to break the electrical circuit.
The hardware choice depends on the specific load requirements and exposure level. For the structural framework of docks and piers, heavy-duty Hot-Dipped Galvanized (HDG) steel bolts and anchor bolts are a common and effective choice due to their thick protective coating. For components in the splash zone or for greater longevity, 316 stainless steel is the superior option. For critical applications that are permanently submerged, high-performance nickel-copper alloys like Monel® are often specified as they offer the greatest resistance to corrosion in low-oxygen seawater environments.
